Felco SPIKE Roller Compaction Buckets allow an excavator operator to backfill open trench spoils and compact them with one attachment – by combining the compaction performance of Felco’s proven spike wheel compactor within an excavator bucket shell. The T-1 Steel Spike configuration helps the excavator push the wheel through sticky clay to achieve compaction.
Transition time switching between a digging bucket and a stand-alone wheel compactor is eliminated, adding up to significant time savings on long pipe jobs. Excavator operators can lay more uniform, compaction appropriate lifts with the SPIKE Roller Compactor attachment, and they consistently report achieving 90% + compaction.
Felco’s Sealed Journal Bearing System requires NO DAILY MAINTENANCE and is supported by an industry best FIVE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY.

Options
Felco offers two options of aggressive drum scrapers between the rows of spikes to keep the clay from building up on the wheel. Dedicated or with Replaceable Teeth.
DEDICATED SCRAPERS
These are from our original design, these are aggressive T-1 steel scrapers on each side of the wheel.
REPLACEABLE SCRAPER TEETH
The front and rear replaceable scraper option reduces the weight of the attachment and keeps material from accumulating on the wheel. Felco uses X156 replacement dirt teeth.
