1. How can a Felco Bucket save me time and improve my bottom
line?
Think of it this way, with one attachment you can accomplish
three tasks: digging, placing, and compacting. So ask yourself
some questions:
- How many attachments would you have to use to accomplish this
otherwise?
- How many people would you hire to run them?
- How much time do you spend switching back and forth between
these attachments?
- How much does this cost your company in time and productivity?
When you think of the decision in this way, the justification
becomes much simpler.
2. How can I justify the purchase of a Felco Bedding Conveyor?
Every job varies and some jobs will yield more productivity by
using a Felco Bedding Conveyor than others. However, here are
some questions that may help you quantify the potential savings:
- Are you going to have to shut down a lane of traffic to allow
equipment to get to the side of a trench? How much time, effort,
and manpower will this use?
- Can you even get to the side of the trench? Are you in an
alley or area so narrow you would have to move your excavator
or backhoe to add bedding material?
- What is it worth to eliminate the safety concern of having
a front-end loader slip into the trench when bedding pipe?
- How much does your bedding material cost? How much money
can you save by being able to put the exact amount of material
where and when you want it?
- Even in wide open spaces, would having a supply of bedding
material with your excavator save you time and money by not
having to bring in a loader every time some bedding material
is needed?
